Salary: $20 - $26 per hour

We are currently seeking a highly skilled, diligent, and passionate Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in maintaining our manufacturing operations, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are performing at optimal levels. This role is integral to our commitment to quality, efficiency, and high-performance in our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be a hands-on individual with a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.

• 1. Conducting routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
• 2. Performing preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance, including cleaning and servicing.
• 3. Troubleshooting and repairing any mechanical or electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• 4. Selecting and using the appropriate tools and equipment for each task, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of all operations.
• 5. Collaborating with other team members to optimize production and improve manufacturing methods and procedures.
• 6. Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to compliance regulations and safety standards.
• 7. Documenting and maintaining records of all inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
• 8. Providing technical input and advice on equipment installation, modification, and upgrades.
• 9. Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.

• 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within the manufacturing industry.
• 2. Demonstrated technical understanding and proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems.
• 3. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• 4. Proven experience in equipment repair, selection, operation, and control.
• 5. Excellent knowledge of machines, tools, and preventive maintenance practices.
• 6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
• 7. Basic safety knowledge and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols.
• 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
• 9. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree from a vocational school or a BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.
• 10. Certification from a relevant professional body will be a plus.
