CNC Machinist

Job Overview

CNC Machinist to join our team and play a pivotal role in the operation of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines. The position will work on a growing team of engineers and technicians and will encompass programming and setup of CNC machines to help support technology development programs designed and prototyped at our new Hollywood, Alabama Engineering Test Center.

Operating lathes, 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines. Reading machine setup sheets, tool lists, and other related documents. Strong communication skills are required.

• US Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• Associate's degree or higher and a minimum of 4 years experience in a CNC machining/programming environment
• Experience designing and developing tooling and fixtures for manufacturing
• Proficient in working with a variety of materials, including plastics, aluminum, steel, stainless steels, and nickel alloys

• Familiarity with AS9100 process
• Deep understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with ERP systems (Cetec)
• Experience with aerospace hardware
• Experience with Mazak CNCs (Smooth AI)
• Experience with Mastercam and Solidworks

This position is onsite in Hollywood, AL.
