Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Technician Sr. (Level
2) to join our team in Courtland, AL! This position will be performing functional testing of harnesses and other electronics manufactured in a production environment. This position is in support of the latest cutting-edge Aerospace programs to include Manned Space Systems, Hypersonic Missiles, Missile Defense, and NASA programs. This position is to support our first shift on a 4x10 schedule:
Thursday-Sunday . However, the position may require periodic or unscheduled overtime and/or nonstandard workweek depending on program schedule requirements and equipment availability.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with or a willingness to learn how to use standard hand tools and test equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers and/or torque wrenches
• Experience with or a willingness to learn how to read and work from test procedures, work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, and/or other information and documentation
• Must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work from technical documents, test plans, procedures, and/or reports

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with analog and digital measurement techniques and instrumentation (e.g. DMM, RF Test Equipment, Power Supplies, etc.)
• Familiarity with DITMCO and/or CIRRIS testers
• Experience or knowledge of proper use of standard hand tools including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and/or network analyzers
• Active Secret Clearance
• Work experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
• Experience working with SAP, EPDM, DOORs, CREO, CAMEO, Automation Framework, or industry equivalent(s)
• Prior experience testing electrical harnesses or electrical harness building
• Ability to maintain process discipline in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to grow and seek new challenges
• Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $41900.00 - $77700.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
