Poultry Receiving Supervisor

KOCH FOODS is seeking a Live Poultry Receiving Supervisor for our Manufacturing & Production team in the Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing industry. This role oversees live bird receiving operations, ensuring safe, humane handling and compliance with animal welfare, USDA, and food safety standards. You will lead and schedule crews, coordinate with live haul and processing, monitor dock and equipment performance, track downtime, and maintain accurate intake records.

The position supports a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement while meeting production, quality, and yield goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee live poultry receiving operations and dock activities
• Ensure humane handling and compliance with animal welfare and USDA regulations
• Monitor safety practices and enforce company safety policies
• Schedule, train, and supervise receiving crews and lead hands
• Coordinate with live haul, growers, and processing to meet production schedules
• Inspect and monitor equipment performance; report and support maintenance needs
• Track intake volumes, yields, downtime, and quality metrics
• Maintain accurate receiving, inventory, and compliance documentation
• Implement and support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
• Communicate performance, issues, and corrective actions to management
