Position Title:

Maintenance Generalist (MG07) Position Summary

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment, pneumatic systems, and circuit components.
• Perform welding, oxygen cutting, plasma cutting, torch cutting, and electrical circuit repair.
• Perform wiring tasks involving three-phase power, motor control systems, relays, contractors, and single-to-multiple start-stop systems.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment, motor control centers, switches, and relays.
• Perform physical tasks including climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 pounds multiple times monthly.
• Work in hot and cold environmental conditions.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Work at heights.

• Maintenance Experience Requirements by Level

• Up to six months of maintenance experience.
• Agriculture Milling Maintenance experience preferred.

• Minimum of six months of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Agriculture Milling Maintenance experience preferred.

• Minimum of six months of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Agriculture Milling Maintenance experience preferred.
• One year of electrical job-related experience must be noted on the application or resume.

• Minimum of one year of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• One year of electrical experience, including PLC and motor control diagnostics with schematic identification, must be listed on the application or resume.

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
