Nurse Practitioner – Surgery (Cardiovascular Surgery)
LocationHouston County, AL 36301
Start DateASAP
ScheduleFull-time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Call schedule: 1:3 equally shared.
Job Details- Permanent position
- Cardiovascular Surgery practice with established referral base
- Hospital‑employed, 20 operating rooms with 2 endovascular suites and open heart suites
- da Vinci robotic surgical system and Maquet EVH system available
- Supports 24/7 cardiology, intensivist, and interventional radiology services
- Assist in the operating room, including vein harvesting
- Perform vein harvesting procedures
- Facilitate hospital rounds
- Provide care in post‑operative clinic
- Registered Nurse Practitioner, State of AL license
- Experience with vein harvesting and surgical first‑assisting
- RNFA certification required
