Staff RN
- Pediatrics (Full‑Time)
Location:
New Lenox, Joliet, Tinley Park.
Hours:
Varied
- Monday to Friday 8:30am–5pm, flexible end time as needed;
Saturday rotation 6–8 weeks 8:30am–1:30pm.
Note:
Position will start in Joliet/Tinley and transition to New Lenox.

- Under general supervision, provide high‑quality support to physicians to meet patients’ medical needs.
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms, readies them for physicians, takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, and ensures charts/lab test results are complete.
- Perform telephone triage, patient education, and handle physician and pharmacy calls; assist with appointment scheduling and arranging hospital tests or admissions.
- Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed, recording all activities in the chart.
- Assist physicians with procedures as necessary.
- Clean and stock examination rooms, prepare instruments for procedures, and maintain a list of required medical supplies.
- Complete paperwork such as lab and X‑ray orders, school/work notes, and other documentation.
- Clean and sterilize equipment; check and restock medication cabinets as needed.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns, serving as liaison between physician and patient.
- Report all test results to patients as directed by physicians.
- Perform OSHA controls as required.
- Assist with narcotic counts.
- Execute other projects and duties related to department objectives.
- Act as a team player, follow work rules, and accept constructive criticism.
- Use current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on the patient’s needs and exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect, and cooperation.
- Serve as a patient advocate, the first point of contact for patient‑related issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Current Illinois RN licensure.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting; new graduates may be considered under specific circumstances.
- Compensation includes a base pay range of $27.00 – $38.50 per hour, dependent on skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
- Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
