, a Cassia Community, is hiring a Director of Health Services (RN) in Buffalo, MN
.
In this leadership role, you will lead the clinical team in providing excellent care for our residents, responsible for organizing, directing, implementing and evaluating the clinical program to deliver exceptional resident care and services in line with regulations and clinical best practices. This position is supported by our after‑hours RN team that will triage all calls evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
As the Director of Health Services (RN), you will help bring to life the mission and values of Cassia to guide the clinical team to provide the highest level of customer excellence to our residents.
Full‑time, benefits eligible.
Wage Range$81,000 - $93,000 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus$10,000.
Location310 Lake Blvd S, Buffalo, MN 55313.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care.
- Complete initial assessment of potential Independent and Assisted Living, and Memory Care residents.
- Create and implement individual Care Plans for each resident.
- Ensure residents’ rights are protected and advocate on their behalf.
- Communicate with healthcare providers, county personnel and family regarding residents’ current needs and health status.
- Take fiscal responsibility for setting and staying within budget for nursing and care‑related areas.
- Monitor and maintain resident charts and progress notes.
- Oversee ordering, set up and administration of all medications.
- Fulfill staffing requirements for nursing department including hiring, evaluation and scheduling.
- Provide health and medication training to all nursing personnel as well as continued education and documents teaching and training assuring compliance with current regulations.
- Oversee and conduct supervision of nursing staff including employee guidance, coaching and discipline to maintain high standard of care and positive work environment.
- Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Senior Living experience (SNF or AL) required.
- Must be familiar with Assisted Living rules and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, family members and staff while promoting a positive atmosphere in the nursing department.
