Position Overview
The role involves providing direct nursing care in an 18-bed MICU stepdown unit, monitoring patient conditions, implementing care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts, and managing discharge planning.
ResponsibilitiesCarry out physician and nurse orders, document patient progress, and ensure high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
QualificationsValid RN licensure or eligibility in Alabama, BLS certification within 30 days, and a diploma from an accredited nursing program.
SkillsStrong communication, teamwork, patient assessment, and care coordination abilities.
