Role Overview:
Provide direct nursing care in a 22-bed oncology and medical-surgical unit, ensuring patient safety and quality care according to organizational policies and protocols.
- Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans and condition updates.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and serve as the primary liaison among healthcare team members.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess discharge planning needs and collaborate with team members for smooth patient transitions.
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse, obtained from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross within 30 days of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Full-time night shift (7 pm to 7 am), with potential bonuses up to $20,000.
