Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Position Overview

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans and condition updates.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care.
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.

• Current RN licensure or eligibility to be licensed by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school and professional licensure at the time of hire.

• Work on a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit caring for patients with diagnoses like pneumonia, COPD, CHF, diabetes, and undergoing procedures such as EGDs, lithotripsy, PEG tube placement, and cholecystectomies.
• Full-time night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am.
• Potential bonus of up to $20,000 for full-time positions.
