Southern Health Partners has been a leader in correctional healthcare for more than 30 years, providing compassionate, quality medical care to an underserved population. We are looking for a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator (RN MTA) to join our team at the Colbert County Jail.

What You’ll DoAs the Medical Team Administrator, you'll help oversee the day-to-day delivery of healthcare services within the facility while working alongside a dedicated correctional healthcare team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide and oversee direct patient care within the facility

Coordinate and support daily clinical operations

Supervise and collaborate with nursing and medical staff

Ensure quality patient care and adherence to established policies and procedures

Complete assessments, medication administration, treatments, and other nursing duties as needed

Communicate with providers, facility leadership, and the healthcare team Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Help ensure the medical department operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards

What You’ll Need Current RN license in the state of Alabama Current CPR certification

Previous nursing experience required

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Ability to work effectively and professionally in a correctional setting
