Location: Midland City

Midland Animal Clinic is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
to join our busy, collaborative team in the heart of Old Poway.

Since 1973, we've proudly cared for generations of pets and their families, building lasting relationships throughout the community. Our 8-doctor practice is known for compassionate medicine, loyal clients, and a welcoming, family-oriented culture. Many of our support staff have been with us for 7+ years
, creating a stable, supportive environment where teamwork and mentorship are part of everyday life.

As our hospital continues to grow and evolve, we're looking for someone with strong veterinary experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a team that values collaboration, positivity, and exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with appointments, treatments, and patient care
  • Collect blood samples, place IV catheters, and monitor hospitalized patients
  • Safely restrain patients for exams and procedures
  • Administer medications under DVM or RVT supervision
  • Educate clients and maintain accurate medical records
  • Help keep our hospital running smoothly while delivering exceptional care
We're Looking For
  • Strong veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant or RVT
  • Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced hospital
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
  • A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional patient care
  • Credentialing is welcomed but not required. We're looking for the right person with strong technical skills and veterinary experience.
Schedule

Full-Time

  • Five-day work week
  • Rotating Saturdays
  • $20-25 hourly pay based on experience
