Overview
The Quality Assurance Sr. Specialist – Information Team supports the analysis of field claim data, assistsin the claim/reclaim process for cost recovery, and contributes to the preparation of quality reports. This role works closely with OEMs, MOBIS HQ, and suppliers to help resolve quality issues, track warranty costs, and maintainaccuratedocumentation. The Sr. Specialist plays a key role in ensuring data accuracy and supporting continuous improvement efforts through detailed reporting and supplier communication.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES (To performwithinthispositionsuccessfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Analyze warranty field claim data andassistin executing theclaim/reclaim process for cost reimbursement.
- Support the creation and maintenance of QA reports, including monthly field claim summaries,burden ratio analysis, andKPI updates.
- Maintain and update reclaim logic and system conditions to supportaccuratecost tracking and reporting.
- Communicate with suppliersregardingfield claim responsibilities and support countermeasure coordination.
- Coordinate with OEM (e.g., HMMA), MOBIS HQ, and suppliers to clarify data andassistin resolving disputes.
- Assist in preparing documentation for Customer Satisfaction/Reliability Study (CS1M/RS1M) andOEM Quality 5-Star Evaluation requirements.
- Provide support for internal and external audits by organizing andsubmittingrelevant quality and cost data.
- Participate in process improvement activities to enhance data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and reclaim effectiveness.
- Manage communication and issue resolution with Korean CKD suppliers, including claim buybacks, legal requests, objections, warranty agreements, SAP issues, and claim corrections.
- Support OEM (HMMA) requirements, including preparation of reports in Korean and participation in meetings with HMMA quality management conducted in Korean.
- Prepare and analyze quality and warranty reports for HQ in Korea and support communication between HQ and local operations.
- Support key Quality Management (QM) activities that directly impact plant performance, including IATF audits, supplier visits, new model launches, countermeasure management, and Korean-English translation of quality-related reports and communications. The position is required to accurately communicate feedback from Korean auditors, suppliers, and HQ to local and expat management teams.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to speak and write in both Korean and English
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data handling, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas).
- Familiarity with quality systems and standards (IATF 16949, ISO, QMS).
- Effective communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
- Experience with field claim systems or supplier cost recovery processes is a plus.
