Pastry Prep Cook

General:

• Is responsible for prep in all aspects associated with the pastry department at Cypress Social, Petit & Keet and PK Catering @ Cypress Social, and reports directly to the Pastry Sous Chef, Executive Pastry Chef, Executive Chef, General manager & Assistant General Manager.

This includes but is not limited to the following:

• Dessert standards, quality, and consistency
• Ensures the station and surrounding areas are sanitized and clean in accordance with company standards and health code regulations
• Responsible for general kitchen organization, product rotation, and routine maintenance.
• Communicates any necessary repairs for kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Maintains standards of desserts set forth by the Pastry Sous Chef, Executive Pastry Chef, and Executive Chef
• Flexible working hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings, when necessary.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.

• Ensures the pastry department is operating at it’s optimal efficiency level.
• Performs any role necessary to ensure we maintain our standards of service.
• Follows recipes and procedures set forth by Pastry Sous Chef and Executive Pastry Chef.
• Executing pastry orders for catered events and accommodating special requests.
• Keeping records relating to deliveries, dessert transfers, and production levels.
