Member Frontline Services Associate – responsible for providing member service, maintaining checkout and entrance/exit areas, assisting with payments, returns, and merchandise. Works closely with teammates to ensure a safe, welcoming environment and supports training of new associates.
Key Responsibilities- Provides member service and maintains the checkout area.
- Resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services.
- Provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology.
- Processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
- Follows company safety standards, conducts safety sweeps and reports unsafe situations.
- Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, and assists members with purchasing decisions.
- Keeps merchandise organized, zones the area, and maintains a safe shopping environment.
- Reviews member receipts, secures and safeguards club assets, and communicates potential criminal activity.
- Maintains documentation, logs, and executes emergency response procedures.
- Assists with training new associates on company processes and procedures, teaching new technology and tool functionality.
- Identifies shrink, damages, and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices.
- Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Working with mobile retail applications.
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00.*
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
