The Assistant Manager assists the Store Leader with hiring, scheduling, barista training, completing managerial paperwork tasks, and running a clean, efficiently operating store. This role also serves as the managerial point of contact when the Store’s Manager is off shift (expectation to be consistently available). The Assistant Manager is vital in maintaining a positive culture and exemplifies Scooter’s Coffee core values.

• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Must have the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Must have a positive and professional demeanor and the ability to convey a positive atmosphere among the staff.
• Must have the ability to clearly communicate.
• Prior leadership experience preferred; prior Scooter’s or Barista experience not necessary.
• Can work up to 40 hours a week; this is an hourly position, not salary.
• Must have flexible hours.
