Security Officer - Patrol Driver — Brookwood, ALYou will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations with clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements are needed.

- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout industrial production areas, yards, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in, and directing traffic flow per site procedures.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift turnover communications, and report maintenance concerns observed during rounds.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
