As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Mc Intosh, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location in an Access Control role where you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and document security-related activity. You will stay highly visible, communicate clearly with site teams, and help support smooth operations with professionalism and integrity.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical environment.

* Staff access control points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing and collecting badges, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, and maintaining required access logs.

* Control vehicle and delivery access at entry gates by checking credentials, validating scheduled shipments, directing drivers to designated routes and staging areas, and documenting inbound and outbound traffic.

* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, documenting events, and supporting on-site response protocols.

* Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, process areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations, and report maintenance or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

* A guard card/license is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
