Part Time Security Officer at the Toyota Manufacturing Plant. $17.50 per hour.

Hours – Must be fully flexible and able to work any hours, including weekends and holidays. This part‑time position is for up to 30 hours per week.

Location – Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama, Inc. – 1 Cotton valley Dr. NW, Toney, AL 35773.

Earn More for Showing Up Strong – Officers who are present for every shift they commit to during the quarter are eligible for a $100 quarterly perfect attendance bonus.

• Rover – Vehicle/foot patrols; deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity.
• Gatehouse – Access control; greet and /guests, log vehicles, announce visitors.
• Front Desk – Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements.

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals and vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of a visitor’s arrival.
• Assist in protecting people and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and detect any suspicious behavior to assist in preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior or exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or possessing prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports and documents).
• Ensure all rules and regulations are enforced and followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum age 21 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum one year of security experience.
• Must pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
• Physical ability to climb, crawl, crouch, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods.
