Welder Overview:
Embark on an exciting journey as a Welder, where you'll work under a qualified trade Journeyman to learn how to fuse fabricated components to create robust structural forms. Your learning experience will include assembling vital pieces that form the backbone of our projects. Safety takes center stage in this role, as any oversight in executing essential tasks could pose risks to our team and the wider community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembly and welding applying learned welding techniques.
- Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
- Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
- Set up equipment and welds parts, using arc welding equipment.
- May assemble parts by bolting.
- May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts using cutting torch, straightening press and other hand tools.
- The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be physically capable of performing construction work
- High School Trade preparatory classes
- Mathematics and/or Drafting classes
- Familiarity and exposure to construction
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently on the job and able to climb more than 300 feet.
- Must be able to pull own weight when climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding up to 150 feet.
- Excessive amounts of bending, stooping, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, a loud and dusty work environment, and able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields. All the physical demands listed are essential functions.
