Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you’ll take ownership of electrical maintenance activities—installing, troubleshooting, and repairing critical equipment—all while driving safety, quality, and performance standards. The life of an Electrical Supervisor includes:
- Facilitate and promote a safe and positive working environment for all employees under your direction.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and open communication to your team while identifying opportunities to reduce downtime and repair costs.
- Ensure safety, quality, environmental, and maintenance objectives are consistently met or exceeded.
- Train and mentor employees, design work schedules, and delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Document and schedule predictive, preventative, and corrective equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate electrical work execution and collaborate with other maintenance teams to minimize unscheduled downtime.
- Order parts and materials as needed and prepare reports for management.
- Maintain high standards of work performance and professional conduct.
For this role, you’ll come equipped with:
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
- 10+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician with specialized skills in PLCs.
- Thorough knowledge of plant equipment and operations.
- Expertise in electronic maintenance systems and familiarity with OSHA regulations.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge or experience in lumber manufacturing is considered an asset.
