The Maintenance Engineer will perform a variety of maintenance trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and upkeep of the preventative maintenance program of the resort/hotel. Tasks include:

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, and air conditioning systems, including switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Make repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, etc.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Maintain records as required by company policy and procedures. Keep logs on completed tasks, prepare reports as requested by supervisors, and submit all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.

• Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Engaging and welcoming personality
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
• Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push and pull throughout the duration of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

$19.00 – $19.50 per hour.
