Ag Service Technician – Diesel​/Heavy Equipment

Primary Objective

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician specializing in the maintenance and repair of tractors and production agriculture equipment. You will be paid a competitive wage with the opportunity to earn a monthly bonus based on your performance.

• Perform basic diagnostics on agricultural equipment, outdoor power equipment, or commercial worksite equipment and determine required repairs.
• Execute repairs on agricultural equipment, outdoor power equipment, or commercial worksite equipment as requested by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman.
• Participate in all job‑related training and development.
• Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work orders.
• Maintain current product knowledge of John Deere and other products sold or serviced by Tri Green.
• Maintain safe and proper operation of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Complete any other duties assigned by supervisor.

• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in repairing outdoor power, agricultural, and commercial worksite equipment.
• Ability to use standard desktop/laptop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
  Associate’s degree from an Ag Tech program preferred.
• Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with John Deere and other products sold and serviced by Tri Green.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems related to agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment.
• Strong analytical, business planning, problem‑solving, communication, motivational and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds; tasks may include lifting, bending, squatting, standing for prolonged periods, and sitting.
