3rd Shift Maintenance Technician — Lacey’s Spring Quarry, Lacey’s Spring, AL. Reports to the Plant Manager. The role emphasizes safety, self-motivation, and teamwork.

• Wage dependent on verifiable experience
• 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• $5.00 night shift differential
• Full-time / Permanent
• Weekend work may be required
• Overtime available; medical and retirement benefits

• Repair and maintain crushers, conveyors, and screens in the plant.
• Diagnose mechanical issues with quarry equipment, including hydraulic failures, electrical malfunctions, and engine problems.
• Fabricate parts and weld broken components needed for plant repair.
• Perform servicing and general maintenance for all plant areas.
• Regularly inspect quarry equipment for wear, damage, or potential failure (belts, bearings, hydraulic lines, electrical components).
• Follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe procedures and environment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs.
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance or related industry required.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors, and screens required.
• Experience fabricating, cutting, and welding required.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision.
• Flexible on working hours and locations; able to adapt to different environments.
• Ability to demonstrate equipment operation and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good organizational and time management skills.
• Team player with the ability to work outdoors in varied weather; exposure to dust, noise, heat, and cold.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
