Field Service Technician
Pay Rate: $25-$30

Theodore, AL 36852 Monday – Friday | 7 AM start + OT
Bear Staffing is currently hiring for a Field Service Technician with any of the following skills: handyman, basic electrical, basic plumbing, basic framing, or carpentry skills to join a team with one of the world's largest modular building companies with over 250 locations. Our client is looking for skilled and dependable carpenters and technicians to join their team, this is not a short-term position;
it is a career opportunity. Construction experience is required. In addition, the Field Service Technician provides outstanding customer service while troubleshooting and servicing buildings in the field in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
Conducting service calls related to HVAC, plumbing and carpentry within the Branch territory Explaining repairs and services to customers courteously, over the phone and in-person Maintaining a safe working environment and practicing safe working habits including complying with client safety standards on-site.
Education And Qualifications- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must have carpentry knowledge and experience.
- Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is helpful.
- General contractor's license is preferred.
- A current valid license and good driving record required.
- Knowledge and experience with HVAC equipment and appliances.
- Must hold appropriate licenses as required by law. (EPA Universal)
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment is a must.
- Some knowledge of computers is necessary.
- Good communications skills to interact with customers, salespeople, contractors, shop personnel and other employees.
