Maintenance Generalist Lead MGL-MGL, 1st Shift Pickensville Blend Mill

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Generalist MG07 Lead is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Equipment Assembly and Disassembly:
  Efficiently assemble and disassemble equipment as needed.
• Operation and Maintenance:
  Operate and maintain mobile equipment, pneumatic, and circuit components.
• Welding and Cutting:
  Perform welding, oxygen cutting, plasma cutting, torch cutting, and electrical circuit repairs.
• LOTO Procedures:
  Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety during maintenance.
• Preventive Maintenance:
  Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Ability to climb, stand, bend, sit, and carry-push-pull up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to work in hot and cold conditions and at heights above 20 feet.

• Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Ability to take instructions and communicate effectively.

• Operational Support:
  Assist the facility manager in daily operations, including safety training and compliance, operational guidance, and quality compliance.
• Communication and Technology:
  Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer-based programs are required.

• MG06-MG07:
  Minimum of six months industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. Agriculture Milling Maintenance preferred. One year of electrical job-related experience noted on the application or resume.
• MG08:
  Minimum of one year experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. One year experience in electrical including PLC and Motor Control diagnostics with schematic identification must be listed on the application or resume.

• Driver's License:
  Must have a valid drivers license.
• Working at Heights:
  Ability to work at heights.
• PIT Certification:
  Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
