The role focuses on overseeing asset protection initiatives across all distribution centers and fulfillment centers.
Data and Digital LiteracyPossesses knowledge of data collection modes, techniques, and tools as well as data analytics. Responsible for articulating levers that influence data, ensuring data quality, organizing processes for analysis, and developing and implementing technology changes across multiple processes within the assigned area of work.
Environmental ProtectionPossesses knowledge of environmental policies and procedures applicable under federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Responsible for operating tools and equipment for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution; supporting regulatory visits and preparing audit reports; participating in pollution control evaluation and design; interpreting compliance status reports; assisting in policy development; implementing policies; and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.
Operational ExcellencePossesses knowledge of organizational processes, root‑cause analysis techniques, department workflows, SOPs, and OBW processes. Responsible for explaining operational functions and key roles, clarifying departmental relevance to strategy, describing interdependence of functions, identifying primary operational functions, locating SOP/OBW information, and listing common tasks performed by operations functions.
Partnership CollaborationPossesses knowledge of stakeholder identification, communication, engagement methods, and management effectiveness tools. Owns the delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others, supports process updates, solves simple business issues, and demonstrates functional knowledge of the business unit.
Employee Health and SafetyPossesses knowledge of OSHA guidelines, safety and food safety auditing processes, regulatory inspection processes, and emergency evacuation plans. Responsible for participating in inspections, ensuring first‑aid equipment is operational, maintaining supplies, recording health and safety records, monitoring hazards, conducting walk‑throughs, applying continuous improvement processes, reporting violations, implementing audit requirements, creating action plans, and validating claim records.
Asset Protection SecurityPossesses knowledge of asset protection policies, practices, and guidelines. Responsibilities include using tools for theft prevention, investigating security breaches, supporting access control procedures, assisting with emergency and surveillance services installation, maintaining loss prevention records, generating loss and shrinkage reports, supporting reduction practices, and reporting related incidents.
EHS Training DeliveryPossesses knowledge of training methodologies and life cycles. Supports instructor activities, solicits participant feedback, utilizes training life cycles, and explains relevant procedures to contractors.
Risk ManagementPossesses knowledge of risk assessment reports and tools. Responsible for producing and interpreting reports, identifying technology/security/financial risks, documenting risk‑management procedures, managing risk for the assigned area, evaluating risk awareness, conducting assessments, and collecting documentation for continuous improvement.
Process ImprovementPossesses knowledge of critical workflows and identifying problems. Responsible for defining critical workflows, focusing on significant problems, surfacing systemic issues, implementing improvement methods, coaching team members, leading incident investigations, and providing countermeasure solutions.
Influential CommunicationPossesses knowledge of clear, credible communication. Builds thoughts, presents to team members, provides data‑based recommendations, listens constructively, and builds a professional network.
