Role OverviewThe position involves developing software for our commercial product team, focusing on securing systems at the lowest levels. The candidate will design, implement, and maintain security-focused features in C/C++ and other low‑level languages.
Required Skills- Experience with C/C++ development
- Proficiency in bash scripting
- Knowledge of Linux OS internals
- System and application debugging skills
- Familiarity with assembly (x86, ) and function calling conventions
- Leadership of software product delivery to commercial and/or government customers
- Experience with Kernel/Driver development
- Knowledge of build systems such as Make, CMake, etc.
- Understanding of concurrency and parallelism concepts
- Building/configuring Linux kernels (Redhat, Yocto, etc.)
- Kernel/Driver development and TPM/Secure Boot technologies
- Security concepts and DOD System Security Engineering standards (RMF, Cyber Resiliency, Anti‑Tamper)
- Internals of other operating systems (Windows, RTOS)
- Virtualization (QEMU, KVM, VMWare, Virtual Box)
- Container technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
- Cryptography implementation and algorithm design
- Experience with ARM or other non‑x86 assembly languages
A motivated, creative systems‑level security engineer with strong technical and problem‑solving skills.
Security ClearanceQualified applicants must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret clearance.
Interview ProcessTechnical interviews focused on your background and problem‑solving in a computer or whiteboard setting.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $122,000 – $253,000, commensurate with experience and expertise. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401(k), PTO, holidays, and additional insurance.
