• Drive a dump truck to transport and dump loose material such as gravel and crushed rock.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance tasks (oil, grease, service, and normal operating adjustments).
• Lift/move transported materials as needed and ensure safe operation of the vehicle.
• Check and report any defects to the supervisor; if the equipment is a safety hazard, do not drive it and report immediately.
• Position the truck for loading by the loader operator/storage bin and unload at the primary crusher or stockpile as required.
• Remain able to perform repetitive tasks in accordance with set procedures and pace.
• Meet physical and environmental requirements including light work exertion and exposure to conditions such as fumes, dusts, and mists as applicable to mining experience.
• Climb on/off the truck and operate foot controls as part of routine driving tasks.

• Three years of related experience required.
• Must have mining experience.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Current driver's license required; possession of a Commercial Driver's License is not required to apply.
