The Class A CDL Driver is vital to our logistics team, responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across designated routes. Responsibilities include pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, route planning with dispatch, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and communicating with customers, vendors, and the operations team. The role requires adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.

• Operate 30‑45’ open‑top dump trailers within a regional footprint determined by management.
• Drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles in compliance with DOT and local, state, and federal laws.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Use hand tools for basic repairs of company bins and equipment.
• Maintain truck equipment and overall cleanliness of equipment.
• Use electronic logging system for DOT driver logs and other required entries.
• Maintain required paperwork (contamination and service tickets, truck maintenance, etc.) and submit all documentation to the appropriate party.
• Communicate regularly with customers and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
• Communicate with the corporate office/operations team for service, equipment, and customer service issues.
• Report all accidents and injuries immediately to the safety manager.
• Work flexible hours based on seasonality, up to 50 hours per week.
• Attend and participate in weekly safety calls, training, or briefings.
• Use basic computer and cell phone functions for training, communication, and expense management.

• Valid Class A CDL in the state (Preferred).
• Valid Class B with grapple truck experience or willingness to train.
• Time management and route consistency.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Experience using an Electronic Logging System such as People Net.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics (plus).
• Basic computer and cell phone knowledge.
• Proficient in reading and speaking English for public interactions, traffic signs, official inquiries, and record entries.
• Age 21 and over.
• 1‑year tractor‑trailer experience.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Pass a pre‑employment background check.
• Clean MVR.
• Pass the road test.
• Live in a defined hiring area and be willing to park at the approved parking area.
• No DUI or DWI conviction in a commercial or personal vehicle in the last three years.
• No DOT drug‑alcohol violation within the past three years.

• Regularly lift, pull, and/or push up to 70 pounds; bend, stoop, twist, shovel, or reach overhead.
• Manage unpleasant odors from food waste or farms.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.

• Class A CDL License (self‑certified as a non‑excepted interstate driver with the state of issuance).
• Clean MVR and PSP.
• At least 23 years of age with a minimum of 2 years of full‑time verifiable tractor‑trailer experience, or 21 years of age with 1 year of experience if a graduate of a truck driving school or 1 year of military experience.
• Stable work history.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
