SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Verify all Bill of Lading for signatures and confirm all deliveries are made.

Maintain all Transportation files including reports, invoices, receipts, miles and driver logs.

Tracking all invoices billed to Transportation for accurate billing

Review all driver time cards are accurate and driver payroll is correct

Handle phone calls from customers, drivers, sales department and customer service concerning deliveries.

Process C.O.D.’s

Perform other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective and cost conscious manner complying with all company policies, rules and regulations.

Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must

Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma preferred
Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices
Excellent attendance record
Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed
Excellent computer skills, including Work and Excel spreadsheets
Good math and reading skills
Excellent customer service internal and external
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
Attention to detail essential and demonstrated problem solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain records accurately
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
Previous transportation experience preferred
Must be a team player with a can do attitude
Power Equipment certification a plus
Must be able to read, write, and speak English

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability to meet physical assessment requirements for this position

SHIFT

Monday - Thursday 7 a.m.

- 4 p.m., Friday 7 a.m.

- 11 a.m.
