LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Logistics Specialist for a well-known logistics delivery partner based in Loxley, AL. On this team you will route‑monitor in real time and send hourly reports. You will need to have great customer service and phone skills to be able to communicate with both delivery teams and customers. As a Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing, dispatching and traffic coordination.

$18.00 per hour

Monday through Saturday (Closed Sunday+ 1 more day off)

• Update account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken; update receivers and customers on status on loads
• Take calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentation
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers

• Background Check and Drug Screen
• 1-year of logistics experience
• General knowledge of transportation industry
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
• The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form

Full–Time, Temporary to Hire

• Weekly Pay
