Position Summary:The Warehouse Loader is essential for efficiently handling and transporting products within the warehouse and to delivery trucks. This role is crucial for accurate order fulfillment, safe product handling, and ensuring timely shipment of goods. You'll thrive in our fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards, organizational efficiency, and productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders in accordance with company standards for quality and accuracy.
- Conduct inventory activities such as cycle counts and stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO as required).
- Sort, label, and organize materials to uphold a clean and efficient warehouse layout.
- Prepare shipments, including shrink-wrapping, pad wrapping, and applying necessary shipping labels.
- Safely load and unload trucks using approved techniques and equipment.
- Maintain precise records in warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners.
- Keep work areas clean and hazard-free, adhering to 5S and company housekeeping guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols, policies, and procedures, including personal protective equipment requirements.
- Assist with special projects, inventory adjustments, or other operational tasks as necessary.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Experience:
Retail experience, particularly in furniture, is preferred.
Work Environment Requirements :
- Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift and maneuver furniture weighing over 150 lbs. with assistance. - Work Environment:
