Responsibilities
- Reads pick lists to determine parts to be gathered and moved to the parts staging area.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or using mechanical devices to specific locations located in the warehouse and facility areas.
- Participates in routine cycle counting of all inventory stored at facility.
- Assists all warehouse employees in keeping warehouse areas clean and orderly.
- Opens crates, boxes, or other containers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of experience in materials handling.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Computer SkillsGood working knowledge of computers.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsValid Driver’s License.
Attendance/PunctualityConsistently at work and on time; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
Preferred Qualifications- 1-4 years working in warehouse environment.
- Standing forklift operation experience 1-4 years.
- Sitting forklift operation experience 1-4 years.
- Pallet Jack operation experience 1-4 years.
- Consistently follows established safety procedures.
- Instills open communication and fosters team commitment.
- Strives to perform at the highest level while keeping customer satisfaction in mind.
- Effectively plans ahead to meet commitments.
- Suggests ideas to reduce costs or improve safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of work processes and/or operations.

- Ensures the safe, efficient buildup/breakdown of packing material to include pallets.
- Stores or stages product.
- Stores product in the correct location (e.g., items that are to be protected from the element).
- Completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Reviews and pulls the right product for each order.
- Works closely with the inventory team on product counts.
- Loads and unloads delivery truck and validates product matches packing lists.
- Demonstrates skill for safe handling and storage of product.
- Stacks and stores product considering height, weight, and special handling requirements.
- Maintains required vehicle operators permit as required.
Physical Demands: The employee may sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, twist, talk, hear, and smell. The employee may lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high places, outside weather conditions, and extreme cold and heat.
