Alabaster - Detail Technician

The Detail Technician plays a key role in ensuring that every vehicle leaving our facility looks its absolute best. This position is responsible for preparing vehicles for sale and delivery by performing thorough interior and exterior cleaning, including washing, vacuuming, and completing minor cosmetic touch-ups. The Detail Technician also provides detailing services for customer vehicles based on the specific packages or services purchased.

In addition to working directly with vehicles, this role includes helping maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the car wash facility. The Detail Technician ensures that customer areas—such as waiting rooms, wash bays, and service lanes—are kept neat, safe, and welcoming at all times.

• Clean and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles, including washing, drying, vacuuming, shampooing, and light cosmetic touch-ups
• Prepare vehicles for sale and delivery to meet dealership quality standards
• Perform customer-requested detailing services with attention to accuracy and satisfaction
• Inspect vehicles before and after services to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness of customer areas, workstations, equipment, and the car wash facility
• Follow proper safety procedures and use detailing tools and chemicals correctly
• Assist team members and support daily car wash operations as needed

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in detailing or car wash operations preferred
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
