CNC Machinist

Snelling is recruiting for experienced CNC Machinist for an established manufacturing company in the Alabaster area!! Candidate must be able to set up and program the machine.

JOB DUTIES for CNC MACHINIST:

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
  Interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square, mic, and measuring equipment.
• Sets up and operates machines for cutting gears.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Takes pride in work produced and exhibits a professional attitude and performs additional duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for CNC MACHINIST

• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a CNC machinist- WITH PROGRAMMING
• Able to read blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to modify material by drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing and threading material into parts and holding tolerances to specifications.

Pay to start: $/hr, depending on experience
