A day in your role
On 1st shift, you’ll begin by reviewing work orders and equipment manuals to plan the day’s priorities. A production line needs an electrical check; a hydraulic unit is due for preventive maintenance. You install, troubleshoot, repair, and fine-tune production and facility equipment—always with safety and reliability at the forefront. When an urgent call comes in, you pivot to diagnose the issue, replace worn components, test, and adjust until everything runs to spec.
Between calls, you complete scheduled PMs, inspect for faulty operations or materials, and keep your area clean and compliant.
What you’ll handle
Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility systems.
Respond to emergency/unplanned equipment issues during production; complete scheduled maintenance during downtime.
Execute basic machinist tasks as needed.
Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and restore equipment to optimal performance.
Read and interpret manuals and work orders; document actions taken.
Diagnose faults, replace/repair parts, conduct functional tests, and make precise adjustments.
Carry out preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Identify abnormal operations or defective materials and escalate to supervision.
Follow safety procedures (including LOTO); sustain a clean, orderly workspace.
Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Skills you bring
Ability to interpret equipment manuals and work orders accurately.
Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and general industrial maintenance capability.
Familiarity with problem-solving frameworks (Six Sigma, Fishbone, KT, 8D) preferred.
PLC exposure and understanding a plus.
Experience with robotics preferred.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
Physical demands
Capable of bending, twisting, reaching, repetitive arm motions, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing on concrete for extended periods, and working mandatory overtime.

Equipment Repair & Maintenance Compensation & schedule
This is an hourly role on 1st shift with a wage rate up to $32.00 per hour (based on experience and competency).Benefits & growth
