Location of Position: Alabaster, AL (on-site)
Summary of Position:Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner and assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of products.
Shift: 5pm- 1am | Pay: $/hour
Responsibilities:- Receive raw materials upon arrival and stock warehouse once system transactions are completed.
- Stock production work cells with glass and/or raw materials to produce products for sale to customers.
- Operate Forklift to move materials to component racks.
- Practice all safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform SAP transactions in support of receiving material and movements to work cell.
- Support Shipping Department by loading and unloading trucks when needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Support any other function.
- Required to support FIFO when stocking component racks, or production work cells.
- Must maintain a clean safety record.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent and basic math, reading, and reading comprehension skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- 3 years of forklift experience is preferred.
- Good safety record.
- Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
- Possess good problem solving and reasoning skills.
- Demonstrated know-how on all paperwork.
- Passes drug screening and background check.
- Adaptable to the changing daily production requirements.
- Practice all safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
