Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associate provides excellent customer service, assists with cashier duties, maintains the sales floor, supports store operations and occasionally assists in the pharmacy. The role requires compassion, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Anticipate customer needs and provide differentiated service with compassion and care.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and help locate items.
• Handle cash, check, and credit card transactions accurately following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendor shipments, updating pricing information and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Ensure all departments, including photo, beauty and pharmacy, are fully stocked, operational, and up to date with services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel during regular shifts, providing opportunities for growth and career development.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with the company’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

• At least 16 years of age.

• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly; includes overhead lifting.
• Maintain close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection of small parts.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but Not Required).

Anticipated weekly hours: 25 Time type:
Part time

Typical hourly rate: $15.00 - $18.00 (base hourly rate; actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors).
