Maintenance Technician in Alabaster

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in the Alabaster, Alabama area. This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is $27-33per hour, depending on experience.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and systems
• Install, troubleshoot and repair equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools and production machines
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery
• Clean and adjust air tools and power tools
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Fabricate parts
• Perform some plumbing repairs

• At least 4years of industrial maintenance experience
• HS Diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical skill-sets including pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience with manual lathes, manual mills, and CNC equipment is helpful
• Experience with basic wire welding is
• Ability to work overtime as needed
