Job Overview

United Rentals, a leading equipment rental provider, is hiring a Portable Sanitation Route Service Driver to service portable restrooms and related sanitation equipment. The role includes daily routes, maintaining customer communication, and operating in a safe, timely manner.

• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment, and pick‑up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on vehicles, maintain truck logs.
• Load and unload units; fuel vehicles and other equipment as necessary.
• Frequent customer interaction, including recommendations for additional services and supplies.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping of assigned vehicles and facility.
• Present a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class B CDL driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT‑regulated commercial driving experience.
• Ability to mount and dismount trucks multiple times daily.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
• Willingness to drive day or night; some weekend work may be required.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions and customer work environments.
• Position deemed safety sensitive per United Rentals policies.
