Associate Technical Accounting Director – Onsite Required (Alameda, CA)
A fast‑growing, publicly traded biotech company is seeking an Associate Technical Accounting Director to join its Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting team. This is a fully onsite role.
What You’ll Do:- Serve as a key resource on technical accounting matters
- Evaluate business transactions and draft technical memos
- Support SEC reporting (quarterly + annual)
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, Legal, BD & external auditors
- Maintain and update accounting policies
- BS/BA in Accounting +
Active CPA - 7+ years’ experience
- Strong US GAAP + SEC reporting expertise
- Experience with ASC 606/808, ASC 842, ASC 718, VIEs

Reports to: Senior Director, Technical Accounting
