Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $55.00 to $63.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Record and report revenue related to grants, contracts, and service agreements while maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of funding sources, including billing, tracking, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare invoices, monitor deadlines, and maintain detailed records within the accounting system.
  • Apply revenue recognition rules to ensure financial results are reported correctly and consistently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and review data to support accurate reporting and identify process improvements.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; preferably advanced credentials.
  • 8+ years of accounting experience with a focus on revenue, grants, or contract billing.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and revenue recognition principles.
  • Previous experience working with enterprise accounting systems and managing complex agreements.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and manage reporting deadlines across multiple projects.
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in billing, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Prior experience improving processes and enhancing system efficiency.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools.
  • Adaptable work style with the ability to manage priorities in a fast paced environment.
