Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain project financial reports using accounting software and Excel.
- Calculate and record monthly project revenue, including related journal entries.
- Manage accounts receivable and unbilled balances to support timely collections.
- Collaborate with program staff to reclassify labor and expenses as needed.
- Assist with audits, financial reporting, and compliance documentation for grants and contracts.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in billing, general accounting, or project accounting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to support various accounting functions, including payroll or accounts payable.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Prior experience with MIP Fund Accounting and ADP payroll systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
