Business Systems Specialist I

Insight Global Consulting is seeking a Business Systems Specialist I to support a large-scale utility client's Asset Knowledge Management (AKM) and electric mapping initiatives. This individual will play a key role in supporting process improvement, documentation development, and program coordination across As-Built and Request for Work workflows. This candidate will partner closely with process leads and stakeholders to ensure workflows are clearly documented, trackers are maintained, and issues are proactively managed.

  • Coordinate recurring and ad hoc meetings (agendas, notes, action tracking, follow-ups)
  • Assist with issue tracking, resolution follow-up, and stakeholder communication
  • Provide documentation support including process materials, reference guides, and job aids
  • Support EDRS communication workflows and document approval processes
  • Track documentation through drafting, review, approval, and publication stages
  • Assist with publishing and maintaining controlled documentation in systems like My Catalog/Share Point
  • Provide reporting inputs including status updates, progress summaries, and KPI tracking
  • Support training program updates, materials, and coordination as needed
  • Help ensure processes are standardized, documented, and aligned with program requirements
