Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and supply chain industry, is seeking a Sr. Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a Sr. Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proactive problem‑solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

$40/hr

• Execute purchasing and supply management strategies in collaboration with Category Managers.
• Manage purchase order approvals up to $1,000,000 and support PO conversion processes.
• Lead complex RFPs and small projects, providing expert advice and direction.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies, fostering supplier relationships and driving cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and improve procurement processes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Financial, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of procurement experience with a strong understanding of category management and project management skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet programs and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CPM certification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in supplier relationship management, contracting, and financial benchmarking is a plus.
