Project Coordinator​/Junior Estimator Woodstock

Dexter Construction part of the Municipal Group of Companies operates a construction branch in Recent Brunswick.

Dexter Construction is looking for a dedicated individual with willingness to learn new skills and work on various projects around the Woodstock/ Fredericton area.

The Project Coordinator/ Junior Estimator is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering Company projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications. The Project Coordinator/ Junior Estimator will define project requirements and scope, acquire project resources, and supervise the efforts of project team members.

• Manage job plans, drawings, and specifications
• Manage materials quotations and deliveries
• Manage project schedules
• Confirm quantities on unit price contracts
• Materials and quantity take-offs
• Assist in quality control activities
• Working with and reporting to various Project Managers and Superintendents
• Coordinate project life cycle, from the initial planning, bidding, and operations, up to project Completion
• Appropriately track project progress, and track all project costs
• Any other duties as required

• Working towards Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering;
• Previous experience or solid knowledge of Heavy Civil Construction;
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License;
• Ability to work as part of a construction team;
• Ability to travel to support various projects;
• High attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Utilizes solid organizational and planning skills;
• Robust computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
