Fixture Design, Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to join the Fixture Design team in the Alameda office. This role focuses on guiding project teams through an entire project, including the development and adherence to project scope, budget, schedule, and work plan.

• Understand and align with the client’s objectives and vision

• Oversee project scope, staffing, schedules, budgets, and revenue projections

• Lead internal teams and delegate assignments based on skillsets and availability

• Manage deliverables, client communications, and status reporting

• Review and guide technical drawings, fixture design, and production documentation

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure quality and alignment with design intent

• Provide ad‑hoc design support, including models, presentations, and mockups

• Mentor junior staff and oversee the work of Designers and Job Captains

• Contribute to research, innovation, and documentation efforts related to retail environments and materials

• Background in architecture, industrial design, engineering, or related creative fields preferred

• Experience leading a design engineering team with a focus in metal and wood manufacturing; retail experience is a plus

• Hands‑on experience with prototyping, product testing, and working directly with clients and vendors

• Skilled in design software such as Revit, Rhino, Inventor, AutoCAD, or Solid Works, with experience in millwork, fixtures, or related fabrication industries

• Familiar with project management tools like Quip, Bluebeam, Wrike, Omni Plan, or Jira
