We're building the intelligence layer for the home: ambient, proactive, and built into a family of devices, a central hub, accessories, and the software that ties them together. We're a Series A startup backed by a tier-1 VC, with an ex-unicorn founder. Early team, moving fast.

You'll design the core experience of Sedona, the voice UX, screen interfaces, multimodal interactions, and the systems that tie them together across the whole ecosystem. This is foundational, hands-on product work. You'll report to the Head of Design and partner closely with the CEO, engineering, and hardware to turn an ambitious product into something people reach for every day.

What You'll Do

• Obsess over the end-to-end UX of how people live with Sedona, every flow, every screen, every voice interaction, from the first setup to the hundredth daily use.
• Define the foundational interaction patterns for a new consumer OS.
• Decide what shows up where: hub display, phone, or voice, how much is too much, and when our product should stay quiet.
• Prototype fast and iterate relentlessly, from rough concept to the kind of high-fidelity detail that only shows up when you actually use the thing.
• Pressure-test every flow on real hardware, daily. Live with the device, find the friction, and fix it before users ever feel it.
• Partner daily with design, engineering, and hardware to turn strategy into craft.

• 6+ years shipping consumer products people actually use.
• Strong design thinking; comfortable owning ambiguous problems.
• Experience designing voice, conversational, or AI-driven interfaces.
• High craft, strong product intuition, fast without cutting corners.

• Experience with AI products or LLM-powered experiences
• Background in OS, platform, or hardware

$200K-300K base (Bay Area benchmarks) + meaningful early-stage equity
